hello........! i would like to thank you for developing such kind of website that we can say to enyone that "we also having our own website for films and songs" but i feel there are lots of things are needed to improve and develope. there are only few photo's of actor's and actress's.there must be 10-20 photo's/actor as minimum. if there are news updation of film line and albums and songs are added, then there would be more interesting. could we have funny videos and sound tracks from manipuri digital film and shumang leela...? if you can add these things.we would be very thankful to you.

It's good to have such a site where we can get manipuri songs. It'll be much better if more oldies where we used to hear in radio when we were young particularly songs by Netrajit & others are available

It made me highly delighted to enter manipurpage website the gone night. A mood of feeling secure descended on me and that security still keeps me proud to think that there are volunteers in our state, who has made me(us) able to avail myself(ourselves) of owning a treasured website on the net. I hope to join you sooner or later.

First, let me congratulate on the effort of Manipurpage team has put in to create the site. I hope the site will overcome the teething problems soon. Now, to a topic that I am more interested in: the Travel Section. First, the photographs are too less and fail to conjure up interest. In the What to See section (Manipur sight), it will be helpful if location is given and how to reach there. For the shopping section, the name of the markets (along with location) can be given and the best-buys from the respective markets. say, the Moreh Bazaar at the mouth of Paona Bazaar a main attraction for residents as well as visitors can be highlighted for shopping imported goods; then, the Ima Market for local products (elaborate). Even the Singjamei Market is a good place to shop for fashionable clothes for youngsters. You can also put a What to eat Section. Getting invited to a feast is not a bad idea. We can talk about the Utsavs and Cheiraoba for veggies and Mangani Chak-ouba for fish lovers. And yes, whenever I am there I love to devour the yummy, sweet-sour-succulent pineapple. What about the Festivals???? How to Get There lacks research and comprehesiveness. There is no mention of Indigo very popular with budget-fliers. By Train, There is no mention of how to reach Manipur from Dimapur or Jiribam. You should also advice the traveller on feasibility suggest the best option. What about the timings of the bus services and how much time it takes? These are all very neccessary. That's all for today. Wish I have the time to go into more detail and cover all the sub-sections of Travel Section.

Like bollywood, hollywood, u also try to exposed manipuri film and songs thru your website.

Hi,
You have indeed presented a good collection of manipuri songs. And I appreciate the option given for downloading it. Not many sites offer such easy system to download for personal copies. Kudos to ManipurPage team!
But, I'm not still able to get the idea behind of not having any proper articles. I'm sure it takes time to come out with complete packages but I look forward to see more interesting stuffs other than good music.
Infact, I was thinking the name of this site should have been something relating to manipuri music. It would have suited more.
And I have an idea....I don't know if you guys would like it but....it won't be bad if you can provide the lyrics....I'm sure people will love it. And there's hardly any site from where we can get manipuri song's lyrics...
Would be really great if it works!!
Keep up the spirit of the site! Good Luck!!

I invite your attention but this is not about any upcoming science neither about a new age philosophy that one would be keen to adopt .I am talking about the trend of boys and girls staying together before marriage in many cities of India like Delhi,Bangalore,Mumbai,....etc.
Toast to them but its infact becoming the New Age Mantra cum Funda for most of the youths who stay out of home either for studies or for job purposes. And Cheers to Meiteis they are topping in this field recently.
Many people today ,including our meiteis ,go for live in relations to decide whether the person whom they are going to get married is worth or not. They take it as a test series match of cricket. But living together before marriage is not always the correct way to decide whether you both are meant to be or not.If two people are really made for each other then they can feel the bond even if they are miles apart from each other. It does not matter what his/her personal habits are.No one is flawless and being in love means to overlook the flaws and accept the person lovingly.
Live-in relations are a relatively new practice that is quite a frenziness among many youngsters including meiteis. They have an excuse that through such relation they can learn personal and annoying habits about their partners. But its a startling fact with the latest statistics that most live-in couples do not end up marrying. It is quite an astounding revelation given the fact which says that living together before marriage is all for a better relation and understanding ahead. But another shocking eye-opener is that most people who marry after a live-in relation end up in hasty diviorce.
Isnt it better to wait for the mystery and the surprise element of staying together after marriage instead of going for a live in relation? With marriage responsibilities is coupled along and people become mature sub-consciously.There is no meaning in a relation if there is no commitment from the partners.Confusions and frustrations are bound to arise with both the individuals not wanting to adjust or compromise.
Think and act its your choice but then don't mar the non-chalant spirit that our culture and tradition has been observing for years.
